Naturally present in our skin, hyaluronic acid molecules play a major role: retaining water in the tissues to maintain a good level of hydration in the deep layers of the skin.


Within the epidermis, hyaluronic acid retains water and prevents dehydration. Deeper down, in the dermis, it fills the space between collagen fibers, playing a role in the skin's appearance, tone and consistency.
